Sgt. Amanda Worley of the ETSU Department of Public Safety recently led a training seminar at Milligan College on how to prepare for an active shooter scenario. She gave her presentation through her internship with Milligan Student Development, which is in conjunction with her doctoral studies in ETSU’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. In her session, Worley gave attendees information on how to best survive in such a situation, including barricading entrances and memorizing escape routes.
Worley’s presentation was part of the first Campus Safety Week at Milligan College, which was designed to help educate students on the college’s safety procedures.
