'Showcases: Musical Conclusions'
JOHNSON CITY – The concert bands from East Tennessee State University’s Department of Music will present their final concert of the 2017-18 academic year on Tuesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in the Science Hill High School auditorium.
“Showcases: Musical Conclusions” wraps up this year’s trilogy of concerts in which both the ETSU Wind Ensemble and Concert Band present respective concert programs that parallel each other.
To culminate the April 17 concert, retiring ETSU percussion professor Dr. Rande Sanderbeck will perform “Concertino for Four Percussion and Winds” with three ETSU percussion alumni joining him.
The ensembles will be conducted by Drs. Christian Zembower and Joe Moore, director and associate director, respectively, of ETSU bands.
Admission is free; donations will be accepted.
