'From Ancient Africa to Now'
JOHNSON CITY – East Tennessee State University’s Africana Studies program will host “A Celebration of African Expansion and Expressions” Tuesday, April 17, at 9:45 a.m. in 124 Rogers-Stout Hall.
During this free public event, Rev. Vincent Dial will present “From Ancient Africa to Now,” a musical and oral performance focusing on African music, religions, art and politics.
Dial, an ETSU alumnus, was a teacher and administrator in the Johnson City School System before becoming pastor of Bethel Christian Church in Jonesborough.
