Response: Pittsburgh
JOHNSON CITY – East Tennessee State University has activated its ETSU Response website to provide information on support for those affected by the Oct. 27 shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, which left 11 dead and numerous others injured.
The website, www.etsu.edu/response, helps connect students, faculty and staff who may have been affected by the tragedy to support services, including the ETSU Counseling Center, the Employee Assistance Program and BucsCARE. It also provides links and contact information for the ETSU Leadership and Civic Engagement Office, which serves as the clearinghouse for student response efforts.
The ETSU Response website has been used several times in the past to give individuals a way to provide assistance for victims of disasters both near and far.
For more information, call the ETSU Office of Student Affairs at 423-439-4210.
