ETSU CPH Presents at Appalachian Student Research Forum

The Appalachian Student Research Forum is an annual event in which dual enrollment, undergraduate, graduate, recent graduate and medical students as well as post-doctoral fellows and medical residents present their research in a formal, juried setting. The Forum is open to students from all colleges and universities within the southern Appalachian region.  The poster presentation session is open to all participants (undergraduate, graduate, medical residents and post-doctoral fellows). Only post-baccalaureate (graduate) students, medical residents and post-doctoral fellows are eligible to participate in the oral sessions.

The College of Public Health has the following representation:

  • Faculty Participation: 19 different faculty and staff contributed to 28 oral presentations and 42 poster presentations.
  • Student Participation: 58 students contributed to 30 oral presentations and 71 poster presentations. 
  • Winners: College of Public Health students, faculty, and staff were part of 8 first place and 3 second place oral and poster presentations.

The college contributed 27% of all oral presentations and 22% of all poster presentations.
