College of Public Health featured in Illuminated Magazine

 

Spring 2018

College of Public Health students, faculty, and alumni were recently highlighted in the Spring 2018 edition of Illuminated, East Tennessee State University's graduate student research magazine.  

Included in this issue:
  • Olakunle Oni, a second-year graduate student studying epidemiology, was featured in "Backing Up the Unsung Heroes of Appalachian Education."
  • Jenna Middlebrooks, 2015 Alumnus of the Doctor in Public Health program with a concentration in Community and Behavioral Health, was featured in "Where Are They Now?"
  • Olivia Egen, Community Health doctoral student, and Dr. Katie Baker, Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Behavioral Health, were featured in an article titled "Positive Deviance: An Assets-Based Approach to Solving Health Disparities."
