Liang Wang

Dr. Liang Wang, Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at East Tennessee State University, is the founding president of the newly created International Chinese Nutrition Young Scholar Network. The network, established in May 2016, consists of global Chinese young scholars, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and students in nutrition science and related healthcare fields, and has more than 1300 members worldwide to date.

The International Chinese Nutrition Young Scholar Network aims to be the leading global platform for young Chinese nutrition professionals to communicate and promote public health and well-being. The purpose of this network is to promote the development of young scholars’ careers and innovative projects through communication, learning, training, and multi-disciplinary cooperation, eventually helping to improve public health.

Through the network, young scholars have access to a multitude of services that will help develop their careers. Conferences, presentations, and interviews with experts are available to members, along with access to recruitment and meeting information. Members can also attend free lectures and read nutrition related research articles to advance their education.

Membership in this network provides an open channel of communication among young nutrition scholars and between young scholars and nutrition experts.
