College presents at the Appalachian Student Research Forum
This year featured a remarkable level of faculty/student participation:
Student research in the College was reflected in 12 accepted oral presentations that featured 14 different faculty and staff, including Manik Ahuja, Katie Baker, Kate Beatty, Jordan de Jong, Sean Fox, Nathan Hale, Amal Khoury, Hadii Mamudu, Megan Quinn, Erik Petersen, Deborah Slawson, Mike Smith, Liane Ventura, and Amy Wahlquist.
Award winners included:
- Garrett Reynolds with faculty mentor Erik Petersen
- Joseph Headrick with faculty mentor Erik Petersen
- Fenose Osedeme with faculty mentor Deborah Slawson
- Esther Adebayo-Abikoye with faculty member Nathan Hale
Student research in the College was also reflected in 32 poster presentations that featured 22 different faculty and staff, including Manik Ahuja, Casey Balio, Kate Beatty, Roger Blackwell, Jordan de Jong, Allan Forsman, Sean Fox, Nathan Hale, Amal Khoury, Ying Liu, Hadii Mamudu, Stephanie Mathis, Mike Meit, Christen Minnick, Beth O’Connell, Sam Pettyjohn, Megan Quinn, Mike Smith, Liane Ventura, Amy Wahlquist, Matt Zahner and Shimin Zheng.
