Basement Construction and Noise Alert
As part of this process, workers will need to temporarily disassemble cubicles, pull up carpet, and perform other work - this is likely to result in noise and to make areas of the basement unusable at certain times. For example, the refrigerator and vending machines will need to be unplugged at some point in order to remove the old flooring, and the bicycle room may be inaccessible on some days.
We stock free earplugs at the library's first floor service desk if you would like some to reduce noise. We also advise making use of the study rooms on the first and second floor during this work.
