Working to Restore Nature Access

UPDATE: Nature journals are back up as of midday 8/26. Please let us know right away if you experience any further downtime on these titles.

Access to all Nature journals is temporarily down due to vendor errors; the library is working to restore access. Nature and Springer are currently undergoing a merger, and this has resulted in difficulties and delays getting our annual subscriptions renewed. The vendor has been asked to keep our access on until we receive a correct renewal quote and can issue payment, but access is currently not available. The library director spoke to them again by phone on 8/25 and was assured access would be restored. 

If any articles from our subscribed Nature titles are critically needed in the interim, our document delivery/interlibrary loan librarian Kelly Loyd will be happy to assist in obtaining those without charge. 

We apologize for the inconvenience and want to reassure you that Nature journals have not been canceled, we are simply experiencing difficulty getting the vendor to renew our access in a timely manner.
