Rick Wallace Receives Rural Health Award
Congratulations to Dr. Rick Wallace, Associate Director for Evidence and Outreach at Quillen's Medical Library, on being named the 2021 Rural Health Professional of the Year Award by the Rural Health Association of Tennessee. Dr. Wallace has been heavily involved in rural health outreach throughout his career, such as work tp provide high quality, patient-friendly health information at Remote Area Medical clinic events. He has served on several committees for the Rural Health Association of Tennessee and leads the organization's student poster contest at its annual conference.
