Winter Holiday Closure 2020
The Medical Library will be closed for the university's winter holiday starting at
noon on Wednesday, December 23rd and will reopen at 10am on Monday, January 4th. There
will be no access to the building during the closure. [Note: this announcement previously stated our closure would be at 6pm on 12/23, but
has been updated following President Noland's announcement of a noon closure.]
Our online resources remain available and questions can be submitted online to medref@etsu.edu for a response from a librarian when we return.
The library's normal hours during this phase of COVID-19 will continue in January
as 10am-6pm, Monday through Friday. If any changes to the university-wide approach
are made over break that affect this January reopening, we will announce how they
affect our library here and on our social media accounts including https://twitter.com/QCOMLIB.
We urge everyone to continue COVID precautions over the break by wearing masks (covering
both nose and mouth), socially distancing (at least six feet), hand washing, and avoiding
gatherings with people who do not live in your household.
