Quillen Librarian Recognized with Innovator's Award

 

Nakia Woodward receiving award from SIS Alumni Society President Amy Dye-Reeves

Nakia Woodward, MSIS, AHIP, has been honored with this year's Innovator's Award from the University of Tennessee Knoxville's School of Information Sciences. This award recognizes an SIS alum for their "cutting edge activities and forward thinking in the field of information sciences."

Nakia accepted her award and delivered an invited talk at the SIS hooding ceremony on Friday, May 13. 

Ms. Woodward is a Senior Clinical Reference Librarian at the ETSU Medical Library. In 2015, she was recognized as one of Library Journal's "Movers & Shakers" in the advocacy category.
