Pharmacy students to host Medicare Part D Enrollment events in Johnson City

 

For anyone interested in enrolling in Medicare Part D, student groups from Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University are hosting several Saturday events in Johnson City, TN. The events are free and open to the public.

 Pharmacy students will guide participants on how to use the online registration tool, explore individual plan options and answer questions. Participants will need to bring their red, white and blue Medicare card as well as a full list of current medications.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Oct. 13

  • Johnson City Senior Center, West Towne Pharmacy, the Johnson City Health Resources Center (Wellness Center), 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Princeton Drug, 9 a.m.—1 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 20

  • West Towne Pharmacy, the Johnson City Health Resources Center (Wellness Center), 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Princeton Drug, 9 a.m.—1 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 27

  • Johnson City Senior Center, West Towne Pharmacy, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Princeton Drug, 9 a.m.—1 p.m. 

The participating student groups include Gatton’s chapters of Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI), National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA).
