Dr. LeRoy-Frazier teaches in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program and in the Division of Cross-Disciplinary Studies undergraduate programs. Her areas of expertise are Southern studies, gender and diversity studies, and cultural studies and critical theory. She's currently teaching courses at ETSU in Gender, Diversity, and Social Justice and Ecofeminism, in addition to the senior capstone research sequence. She has published and presented in journals like The Mississippi Quarterly, The Southern Literary Journal, Obsidian, and Mosaic, and at conferences such as the Modern Language Association, the American Literature Association, the Conference on Literature and Culture Since 1900, the Appalachian Studies Association, and Dimensions of Political Ecology.
She is a native of Eastern Kentucky and has been a professor at ETSU since 2006.
