Border County Residents
Students residing in select bordering counties in North Carolina and Virginia may attend ETSU at the in-state tuition rate, and they may be considered for certain in-state scholarships.
Students that reside at an address located within the following North Carolina & Virginia counties also qualify:

NEW FOR FALL 2021! ETSU introduced a new competitive tuition rate of $10,500 for residents of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia. There are no GPA or financial requirements to receive this rate.
