Wednesday, January 28, 2009JOHNSON CITY— East Tennessee State University’s Office of Professional Development will offer a Renaissance Child Spring Enrichment Program for children ages 6 to 11 during the week of March 16-20, with daily sessions from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Participants will design and decorate kites, publish a newsletter, and engage in numerous other activities. Field trips during the week include visits to Warriors’ Path State Park and Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site, as well as a bowling excursion.
Each child should bring a bag lunch daily and wear “paint friendly” clothing.
Enrollment is limited to the first 20 students who register and pay the $140 fee ($125 for those who present an ETSU identification card).
