“The Hell Where Youth and Laughter Go’: Class Hierarchy in the British Army and the Fury of Modern Warfare, 1900-1916,” Presented by Cavender Sutton

Cavender Sutton is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served two combat deployments in Afghanistan. He is a first-year master’s student working on democratization and militarism in Imperial Germany.


"The influence of William Augustus Bowles on Creek culture during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries," Presented by Keith Wilson 

He currently teaches 10th and 11th grade English in Cocke County, TN. He is a second year master’s student and will be presenting from his thesis work.
