Students
ETSU’s Department of Media and Communication has positioned itself as a thought leader in digital literacy, curriculum design, and experiential learning. Since 2011, instructors have built Adobe Creative Cloud software directly into courses. The Department also offers training and testing services – at no cost to MDCM graduate students and undergraduate majors/minors – that lead to the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) credential. The ACA is the industry-recognized indicator of technical proficiencies in Adobe Creative Cloud programs: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
The online, asynchronous training sessions are three weeks in length and culminate
with an onsite test. To register, see Executive Aide Georgia Dover in Warf-Pickel Hall,
room 519.
