A day of reed-related performances, masterclasses, and clinics!
Students and amateurs of all levels as well as parents and band directors are invited to attend.
On site registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in Mathes Hall Room 105
Activities Include:
- Masterclasses for each instrument
- Workshops to improve practice techniques for scales and etudes
- Methods for improving tone production, musicianship, and expression
- Strategies for improving sight-reading and combating performance anxiety
- Faculty and guest artist recitals
- Mass reed ensemble concert
$10 for participants: Covers all events, including guest artist concert
*Parents accompanying minor children receive free admission
*Parking is free on campus during weekends
