Course Registration

Starting in Fall

Register the following courses 

ENTC 5170 Strategic Management of Technology and   Innovation (ETC Core) Or

ENTC 5030 Project Management (ETC Core)

MGMT 5010 Essentials of Management (General Core)

ENTC 5037 Quality Assurance Or

ENTC 5777 Safety Management

*A Core course is a required course in a concentration

 

Starting in Spring

Register the following courses 

ENTC 5010 Modern Industry

ENTC 5030 Investigation in Technology (General Core)

MGMT 5010 Essentials of Management (General Core)

*A Core course is a required course in a concentration

 

Courses with Prerequisite

If a course has a prerequisite that you don’t fulfill, send an email to the instructor of the course requesting him/her to allow you registering the course. If the instructor agrees, request the instructor to send me an email (Dr. Uddin, ) granting permission. Once I receive the mail, I will override the prerequisite and you will be able to register that course. Without this email you won’t be able to register that course. It may take few days to complete the process, so start the process as early as possible. Include your E#, course number and title and CRN in all correspondences.

If you get an error other than prerequisite while you are trying to register courses please contact Registration Helpline at 423 439 5584.

  1. Register ENTC 5960 Thesis.

  2. Complete the program of study form (under Program Materials) showing that you have met degree credit hours requirements. You can’t count more than three 5xx7 courses.

  3. Complete “Candidacy Form for Master’s Degree”. You will find this form here under Program Materials.

  4. Complete “Appointment of Advisory Committee Form” if you haven’t completed it by now. You will find this form here under Program Materials.

  5. Complete Notice to Intention to Graduate form. You will find it here under Graduation Materials.

  6. Read important dates from this website.

  7. Prepare your thesis report based on the instructions in this ETD Guide
