Joe Smith has been with ETSU for over 20 years. He currently serves as Executive Director of Donor Relations in the Office of University Advancement. His current duties include overseeing stewardship and communication efforts with all donors to ETSU and creating impact reports, scholarship reports, and annual endowment reports. He has been an adjunct faculty member with Media and Communication since 2016.
Joe holds a B.S. degree from ETSU in Mass Communications and earned a M.S. in Digital Marketing. Joe loves teaching Writing for PR and enjoys seeing students sharpen their writing skills. Joe is a proud dog dad to Stuart and Stella (both rescue puppies) and enjoys theater, movies, being the world’s best uncle, and throwing epic dinner parties (even though he can’t cook).
