LaShundia brings 24 years of proven educational management and campus operations experience
to Southwest Tennessee Community College. Her education career began when she was
hired as a Telemarketer with Southeast College of Technology, Memphis campus, in October
1993. In April of 1994, she was promoted to Campus Registrar/Local Technology Coordinator
for Southeast College of Technology. In June of 1999, she was promoted to the Executive
Assistant/Human Resources Coordinator for Education America Southeast College of Technology,
Memphis. In May of 2006, she was promoted to Campus Operations Manager for Remington
College Houston Campus. In October 2009, she was promoted to Campus President for
Remington College Houston campus. Since that time, she has served as Campus President
for Remington College Columbia, and most recently, served as Campus President for
Remington College Memphis before joining Southwest as Director of Admissions and Recruitment.
In 1995 LaShundia earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Operations
Technology from State Technical Institute at Memphis; in 2004 a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in Management Information Systems from University of Memphis;
and in 2008 a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University
all while working full-time. Her achievement orientation is positively sustained by
virtue of her promotions and her personal pursuit of higher education noted above.
LaShundia truly understands the importance of higher education and is committed to
the delivery of quality services to students and the support needed for employee's
success. Her devotion, tenacity, and loyalty to education are evident by her tenure
in the education industry.
