Expanding Horizons
Services:
Our Expanding Horizons program is part of Tennessee's Early Intervention System (TEIS). Intervention specialists work to support children with special academic, social, and behavioral needs. The Expanding Horizons program early interventionists work with children birth-2 years and their families within the home or childcare center. This will result in the caregiver having the ability to meet the child's goals independently by the time they turn 3. Expanding Horizon will work with parents and the child to design and implement individualized programs that best fit the child's situation.
Expanding Horizon Early Interventionists provides services at no cost to the families.
Eligibility:
In Tennessee, a child with an approved diagnosis or children whose test results show that they have a 25% delay in two developmental areas or a 40% in one area may be eligible for TEIS.
