East Tennessee State University is the recipient of the $665,887.00 Integrating Stem and Literacy with Computation in Elementary Education (iSLICEE) funded by the United States Department of Education's Teacher Quality Program between 10 /1/2018 and 9/30/2023.
The iSLICEE is an elementary education program that supports teaching candidates to learn how to incorporate digital learning and teaching skills into the classroom as well as computational thinking and STEM techniques.
The current iSLICEE program is a joint effort between the Clemmer College, College of Arts and Sciences, Graduate School and nine regional school districts.
