The CIIDI strives create an intellectual and scholarly environment that increases our competitiveness for extramural funding including investigator initiated grants, program projects, center grants, contracts and training grants. Through the development of service cores, we are able to streamline efforts of our members through a built infrastructure of like-minded scientists from a variety of backgrounds and expertise.
These service cores include the instrument core, the clinical services core, the study design and analysis core, and the administrative core. Center members are able to utilize these standing cores for data collection, research, analysis, and project management. This allows them to focus on their areas of scientific expertise and shifts other project requirements to Center members and support staff in a way that promotes strong collaboration, precise process, and excellence.
