Robin Feierabend, M.D.
Robin Feierabend, M.D., FAAFP
Dr. Robin Feierabend retired from his full-time department faculty position in 2014, but has continued as a part-time preceptor in our residency programs. He is a native of Louisiana and received his B.A. degree from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and his M.D. degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Feierabend completed a three-year residency program in Family Practice at Moses H. Cone Memorial in Greensboro, North Carolina, and established a rural National Health Service Corps practice in Dungannon, Virginia, where he spent four years prior to coming to Bristol in 1982. Dr. Feierabend is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
His wife Margaret comes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is a former mayor and member of the Bristol Tennessee City Council. They have three grown children - Karl, Neal and Kristin. When it comes to hobbies and other interests, Robin enjoys fishing, gardening, photography and cooking.
