Radiologic Science
(Radiography)
The Radiologic Science program is designed for students who have completed two years of pre-professional college work inclusive of general education and allied health core courses. Students must complete the general education requirements as outlined in the university catalog. The curriculum integrates didactic and clinical instruction with increasing expectations at each level to prepare the student to competently practice in the health care community.
Graduates of the ETSU Radiologic Science program meet the educational requirements to begin the application process for the certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The ARRT requires candidates to be of good moral character and must not have engaged in conduct that is inconsistent with the ARRT Rules of Ethics. ARRT investigates all potential violations in order to determine eligibility. Candidates with convictions, criminal procedures, or military courts-martial may choose to complete an Ethics Review Pre-Application. Additional information regarding eligibility requirements can be reviewed on the ARRT website, and the ARRT staff may be contacted at (651) 687-0048 for individual consultation.
