Each year, a designated committee at Quillen College of Medicine hosts the Caduceus Awards to recognize attendings, residents, faculty, and staff members who consistently go above and beyond in medical education. Nominations are made my students spanning all four years and the final votes are held by the entire student body.
Typically, an event is held in celebrate the winners. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 2020 banquet was cancelled.
“While the past several weeks have been challenging, we are thankful for the many ways we have seen our Quillen community come together to support, encourage, and serve both our school and our city. We wish we could have celebrated all of you in person at the Caduceus Banquet, but want you to know that the lack of a ceremony in no way diminishes all of your hard work. We are so grateful for your wisdom, service, and teaching!”
