JOHNSON CITY (April 3, 2020) – Campaigning has looked different this year, with the East Tennessee State University campus closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the university’s Student Government Association elections will be held as scheduled, with online voting to take place Wednesday and Thursday, April 8-9.
Virtual campaigning has been going on for the last few days, and students are encouraged to visit https://www.etsu.edu/sga/sgaelection.php for information about the election from SGA and candidate questionnaires from the East Tennessean, ETSU’s student newspaper. Links to candidate videos will be shared with the student body on Tuesday, April 7.
A link to vote will be provided on the main ETSU home page, www.etsu.edu, on April 8-9, and election results will be shared with students electronically on Friday, April 10.
