Phil Blevins is an assistant director of Student Support Services in TRIO-Upward Bound. He was previously a teacher in the Hancock County School System. He holds a master’s degree in counseling and guidance from Lincoln Memorial University.
Dr. Marcus A. Green is a data analyst and statistician in the College of Business and Technology. Before coming to ETSU, he was a mathematics teacher in the Denver Public Schools. He holds a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction and educational psychology from North Carolina State University.
Angelia Claymon Hurley is a dental hygienist at the Johnson City Community Health Center. She holds a B.S. in dental hygiene and an MBA in health care administration from Milligan University.
Dr. Tom Kincer is an associate dean for Rural and Community Programs in the Quillen College of Medicine. He was previously a chair and program director with the Baptist-Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program. He holds an M.D. degree from the University of Kentucky.
Richard Lutz is director of design and planning in Facilities Planning and Design. Before coming to ETSU, he was a project manager with the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
Victoria S. Mitchell is a registered nurse with the University Health Clinic after serving as a wound care nurse at Waters of Johnson City. She holds a BSN degree from Milligan University.
Dr. Deidre Pierce is an assistant dean for Student Affairs in the Quillen College of Medicine. She previously held numerous positions with the Medical College of Georgia/Augusta and Hamilton Health Care System. She holds an M.D. degree from ETSU.
Daniel Scherer-Emunds is an Access ETSU program coordinator in Educational Foundations and Special Education. Before coming to ETSU, he was a program director and program communications coordinator with Opportunity Knocks. He holds a master’s degree in special education from ETSU.
Erin Simpson is a digital content strategist in Information Technology Services. She was previously a coordinator of web authoring services (webmaster) at Pellissippi State Community College. She holds an M.A. degree in communication arts from Austin Peay State University.
