Dr. Alina Bhat is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine.
Leah Darnell is a middle school language arts instructor at University School. Darnell was previously an EXCEL English teacher with the Kingsport City Schools and holds a B.A. degree from ETSU.
Bethanie Dye is an assignments coordinator in the Office of Housing and Residence Life after serving as a marketing manager in Dining Services. Dye holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from ETSU.
Amber Earp is a technical clerk in the Office of the Registrar. She comes to ETSU from Four Oaks Healthcare Center, where she was a life enrichment director. She holds an associate degree in sociology from Northeast State Community College.
Erica Malpass is director of the Office of Sustainability in Facilities Management. She was previously a community planner with the First Tennessee Development District. She holds a master’s degree in conservation from James Cook University.
Dr. Brock Thomas Mitchell is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine. Before coming to ETSU, he was a hospitalist and physician with Johnson City Internal Medicine. He holds an M.D. degree from ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine.
Dr. Benjamin Daniel Whitfield is a professor of hospital medicine in the Department of Family Medicine. He was previously a physician with Ballad Health. He holds a D.O. degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
