ETSU Health COVID-19 vaccine clinics return to Millennium Center
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 19, 2021) – ETSU Health is returning to the East Tennessee State University Millennium Center for community COVID-19 vaccine clinics in November and December. The clinics will offer both primary doses and booster doses of the Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. They are free and open to the public.
The clinics will be:
Sunday, Nov. 21, 1-5 p.m.- Tuesday, Nov. 23, 3-6 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m.- noon
The vaccine clinics will be held in the ballroom at ETSU’s Millennium Center, located
at 2001 Millennium Place. Patients may park on the third level or above in the parking
garage adjacent to the Millennium Center and follow the signs to the ballroom.
The only requirement for the clinics is that patients be at least 18 years old, as
the J&J/Janssen vaccine has not been approved for anyone younger than 18.
The CDC recommends that people age 18 years and older who received a J&J/Janssen COVID-19
vaccine at least two months ago should get a booster shot.
In addition, those who started with Pfizer BioNTech or Moderna primary doses may choose
to get a Johnson & Johnson booster if they are six months after their second dose.
