East Tennessee State University welcomes the following faculty and staff members who recently joined the university:
Ben Carpenter is a transfer advisor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. He comes to ETSU from Bushnell University, where he was an academic advisor. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Milligan University.
Olivia Dover is director of Clinical Education and assistant professor of radiologic science in the Department of Allied Health Sciences. She was previously a CT technologist at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. She holds a Master of Science in Allied Health degree from ETSU.
Dr. Richard Hough is a professor of practice in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. He comes to ETSU from the University of West Florida, where he was a faculty member and earned his Ed.D. degree.
Dr. Justin Ledogar is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Sciences. Before coming to ETSU, he was an assistant research professor at Duke University. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the University at Albany.
Jennifer Poux is a medical program facilitator in the Department of Pathology. She comes to ETSU from Johnson City Medical Center, where she was a release of information team leader. She holds an associate degree from the University of Southern Indiana.
Maria T. Ramirez is a retention specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious, Inflammatory, and Immunologic Disease. Before attaining her current position, she was a receptionist in Infectious Diseases with the Medical Education Assistance Corp. She studied pre-nursing at Northeast State Community College.
Mara Reynolds is a digital access coordinator with the Reece Museum. She was previously a graduate student at the University of Florida, where she earned her master’s degree in museology.
