JOHNSON CITY (October 5, 2022) – East Tennessee State University has updated its ETSU Response website to provide information on support for those affected by Hurricane Ian in Florida and other states on the East Coast.
The website, etsu.edu/response, provides links and contact information for those who wish to provide volunteer or monetary support to relief agencies working with the people impacted by the devastating storm.
While the ETSU Dean of Students office is reaching out to offer support and assistance to students who have homes in the region, the ETSU Response website also helps connect students, faculty and staff who may have been personally impacted to support services, including the ETSU Counseling Center and the Employee Assistance Program.
The website has been used several times in the past to give individuals a way to provide assistance for victims of disasters both near and far.
For more information, call the ETSU Office of Student Life and Enrollment at (423) 439-4210.
