JOHNSON CITY – “The Power of Belonging: The Role of Secure Base Leadership in Organizational Health and Success” is the topic of a virtual talk in the ETSU Ballad Health Strong BRAIN Institute Resilience Presentation Series on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m.
Speakers will be Heather Taylor Griffith of Heather Taylor Griffith LLC, Nashville, and Jenn Drake-Croft, project director of the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Technical Assistance Center at Georgetown University.
The health of an organization directly affects its ability to realize its mission, engage and retain employees, provide quality services and support, and enhance productivity and outcomes. The practices and strategies supporting healthy organizational environments are similar to those within the field of infant and early childhood mental health, including the role of a secure base. Secure bases affect growth and development across the lifespan, including in the workplace. This presentation is intended to help individuals at any level of an organization to understand the being and doing of secure base leadership and the ripple effect it creates in and beyond the organization.
