The United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants is coming to ETSU

The United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants are coming to the Appalachian Highlands.  

The concert featuring these highly regarded musical ensembles is set for Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. at the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.  

“These premier ensembles are incredible to experience, and our department is honored to host such a prestigious concert,” said Dr. Alan Stevens, chair of the Department of Music. “The musical versatility of both the band and choir is impressive to experience individually, and they are absolutely extraordinary when they perform together. We invite the public to attend.”

Known worldwide, the ensembles are the official band and chorus of the U.S. Air Force. The members, all active-duty, support ceremonial and diplomatic functions, conduct education outreach events and perform concerts through the United States.  

ETSU is home to a growing arts community, and the Department of Music regularly hosts performances throughout the year.
