Bucs take flight this fall for Homecoming
ETSU is preparing for the Bucs to “Take Flight” in its ‘Top Gun’-themed Homecoming this fall from Sept. 30-Oct. 6.
This year’s Homecoming lineup features over a dozen exciting activities, from a neon paint party to a giant game of Battleship and culminating in the Homecoming football game against the Chattanooga Mocs.
In the week leading up to Homecoming, student organizations can pick up and paint banners that will be showcased on Main Street of the D.P. Culp Student Center. Homecoming Court candidates will begin campaigning, with voting held on Sept. 26-27. The King and Queen will be announced during the football game at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 5.
“Homecoming at ETSU is always an exciting time on campus. Our student organizations really embrace the competitive nature of the week, which allows them to show pride in their organizations and also show their overall ETSU Pride,” said Carter Warden, director of Student Activities & Organizations. “This year's ‘Top Gun’ theme should allow for some very creative expressions from our student leaders."
