ETSU Health welcomes Internal Medicine provider

A native of the region, Stephanie Purvis, N.P., holds a deep love for the community and a desire to give back to her friends and neighbors.
She is now seeing patients at ETSU Health Internal Medicine – Johnson City.


With over 20 years of experience in health care, Stephanie uses her knowledge to better understand what her patients are experiencing and to provide care for all aspects of their lives.


“I am very patient-centered,” Stephanie said. “It is very important to me that I develop a partnership with my patients so that we can work together as a team, to help them meet and maintain their health care goals.”


Purvis earned a master’s degree in nursing from Kaplan University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Virginia’s Clinch Valley College, in Wise.
