Campus Transformations

This spring marked the completion of several dynamic campus improvement projects, each bringing renewed energy, modern upgrades, and enhanced spaces to ETSU.

Students work on computers in the Innovation Commons space.

The Innovation Commons

The Innovation Commons, located on the second floor of Sherrod Library, now offers high-end digital media workstations, a professional sound booth, and a fully equipped Makerspace featuring 3D printing, laser engraving, vinyl cutting, and more.

Burleson Hall

Burleson Hall underwent a major transformation, now offering refreshed, modern office spaces for faculty and staff. The renovation supports the vision for ETSU’s new academic building and helps foster stronger student-faculty connection by relocating academic offices to the heart of campus.

University Commons

University Commons was enhanced with inviting greenways, a gazebo, firepits, and swings—creating a welcoming outdoor space for relaxation and connection.

Students fill the booths and tables at Pepper’s Grill.

Pepper's Grill

Pepper’s Grill opened as a new campus dining option, offering more than just food—it serves as a gathering space that reflects the Buccaneer spirit and supports student events.
