This popular STEM camp features the areas of Engineering, Physics, and Math.
Campers will explore the fundamental concepts of energy, force, friction and other
basic laws of physics. They will use their problem-solving skills to build vehicles,
simple machines, roller coasters and other items. Our classroom will be filled with
ramps, marble runs, and bridges with cars zipping down the hall! Grab your hard hat;
you will truly be entering a construction zone!

Cool Chemistry Fun Back for a Second Summer - kids love it!
Grab your safety googles and head for the Renaissance Camp's science lab! There is
no better way to develop an understanding of the field of chemistry than to perform
hands-on experiments, and that is what the campers will do. Concepts demonstrated
include the states of matter, chemical reactions, and the difference between compounds,
mixtures and solutions. There will be a lot of bubbling, fizzing and maybe an explosion,
all guaranteed to capture the interest of the participants.
Field Trip: David Crockett Birthplace State Park
Session Six: July 19-23, 2021 Truly for the Renaissance Child of the 21st Century

STREAM Camp is STEM plus cross-curricular activities in Language Arts, Literature,
and Art.
Different activities in science, technology, engineering, and math are featured each
day.
Campers will be able to work with electrical circuits, make use of the computer lab,
participate in problem solving, take part in a variety of science experiments and
much more. It is Renaissance Camp's tried and true formula for an amazing week!
Field Trip: Bristol Caverns

our environment affects the Earth and its inhabitants. Campers will take part in some
creative activities to demonstrate the importance of taking care of the environment.
They will use microscopes to investigate the world of microorganisms, and do soil
and water sampling. They will use alternate forms of energy in designing a solar oven,
wind power, and generate electricity from dirt. The campers will practice the 3 R's
(REuse, REduce, Recycle) when they make upcycled art projects. These activities, and
more, will make for a very POPular time!
