East Tennessee State University, in partnership with The Washington Center (TWC), offers students the opportunity to participate in semester-long internships in Washington D.C. Programs that offer students critical experience, professional development, networking, and life-long connections.
During your semester of choice fall, spring, or summer you will live in the Washington D.C. area; gain real-world experience by working for a government agency, a non-profit, or a business; and, at the same time, take part in coursework, programming, networking, and social activities.
The Washington Center's internship program is often referred to as an academic experience
wrapped around an internship!
