On-Campus Employment
Eligibility to work on campus is contingent upon maintaining lawful F-1 status and is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week across all employment positions when classes are in session. For more information please visit this Immigration and Customs Enforcement website regarding on-campus employment.
Important: If you are approaching your Admit Until Date (or program end date) and have not yet filed an Extension of Stay (EOS) Application, your ability to continue on-campus employment may be affected. If you file your EOS Application during your 30-day grace period rather than before your program end date, you must stop all on-campus employment immediately and may not resume work until your EOS Application is approved. See our Extension of Stay page for full details on the EOS process and its effect on employment.
