If something happens and you fail to maintain lawful F-1 status, you have the option to apply for reinstatement. The Office of International Enrollment and Services is here to help you through this process and you can find the steps below:
1) Submit current financial documents to International Enrollment and Services. If eligible, a PDSO/DSO will issue you a reinstatement I-20.
3) Provide letter of explanation, with documentation, about the reasons for falling out of status. Students who have worked illegally cannot be reinstated.
4) Mail application package to USCIS for adjudication.
