Help patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of life by earning your Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics (MSOP) from East Tennessee State University — the first program of its kind in Tennessee. Through state-of-the-art classroom instruction, on-campus labs, and hands-on clinical experiences, you will gain the expertise to design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices while building meaningful relationships with patients.
With an emphasis on interprofessional collaboration, you’ll train alongside other health care disciplines to enhance teamwork and improve patient outcomes and become a leader in the growing field of orthotics and prosthetics.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of orthotists and prosthetists is projected to grow 13% from 2024 to 2034, much faster than the average for all occupations.
As a graduate of the Orthotics and Prosthetics program, you will be prepared to pursue various career paths, such as:

The Master of Science in Orthotics & Prosthetics degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE).
