Recently two members of the Center of Excellence in Inflammation, Infectious Disease, and Immunity were selected to receive awards from the Dean of Quillen College of Medicine.

Dr. Eric Beaumont was awarded the Dean's Distinguished Research Award. The Faculty Advisory Committee and the Dean make this selection recognizing a faculty member for their outstanding contributions to the Quillen College of Medicine in research. Dr. Beaumount, a professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, is a leading expert in Neuroscience and Neurocardiology. He is also the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education. |

Dr. Jonathan Moorman received the Dean's Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes faculty members who have contributed exceptionally to the College of Medicine. He is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Associate Vice President for Clinical Research, Vice Chair of Research and Scholarship, and a CIIDI Co-director. |
