CIIDI members Shunbin Ning, PhD, and Megan Quinn, PhD, were promoted to Professor during the last quarterly meeting of East Tennessee State University's Board of Trustees.
Dr. Quinn is a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology and is the Associate Dean for Community and Global Engagement in the Department of Public Health. Her research focuses on adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and adult health outcomes, global health, health disparities, and rural health.
Dr. Ning is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious, Inflammatory, and Immunologic Disease. His research focuses on chronic viral infection, inflammation and immunity, and their roles in oncogenesis. He serves as Editor for numerous journals.
