Tomorrow's Engineers Today: UT Society of Women Engineers has a yearly outreach event called Tomorrow's Engineers Today. This is an event where we bring in middle and high school aged girls and encourage them to pursue STEM fields. This year's event will be on Saturday February 23. Typically we do a lot of fun science experiments with the girls, and we will be repeating that this year. In addition to experiments, we will be doing demonstrations of some cool things we have at UT. We will be showing off MABEline (our MABE department's realistic synthetic cadaver), our Engineering Fundamentals lab, Electronic Signaling of Remote Controlled Car, and more. This would be a very valuable experience for your students. I would appreciate it if you could spread the word to the students and encourage them to register. The cost for this event is $6.00, which includes lunch. Registration ends on February 10th.
