School Library Professional Graduate Certificate
The mostly online School Library Professional Certificate is 26 credit hours of approved classes to meet the current school licensure requirements for Tennessee endorsement School Library Specialist #473.

Program of Study
Mostly Online School Library Professional Certificate Program
The mostly online School Library Professional certificate is open to qualified candidates who have a master's degree from an accredited institution and who hold a valid Tennessee teacher license. At the completion of the coursework, students would follow the current state requirement of taking Praxis Test #0311 “School Library Specialist” and apply for add-on status to their current teaching licensure.

ETSU School of Graduate Studies Admission Requirements
These standards and materials are required of all applicants regardless of program. Individual program requirements are additional to the following:
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. Degrees from non-accredited institutions will be evaluated on an individual basis.
An undergraduate GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for domestic students, and a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for international students. (Some programs may require a higher GPA.)
A completed graduate application form.
A personal essay of 150-300 words, detailing your interests in a graduate program at ETSU.
A non-refundable application fee of $45 ($55 for international students).
One official transcript from every college or university where the applicant has taken courses.

Border County Information: Students in North Carolina and Virginia living in counties bordering Tennessee may
receive in-state tuition. For more detailed tuition information based on your specific situation, please contact
