Sherry L. Armitage serves as Director of Operations for the College and is responsible
for managing the daily operations of facilities, finance and personnel. She was among
the first employees hired at the Gatton College of Pharmacy, second only to the dean.
A Washington County native, Mrs. Armitage earned her Bachelor of General Studies degree
from East Tennessee State University and her Master of Arts in Organizational Management
from Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tenn. Her 26 years at ETSU include service to
the Office of Human Resources, the College of Business, and Quillen College of Medicine's
Office of Student Affairs. Mrs. Armitage is actively involved in various college and
university committees, as well as professional organizations. She has found her time
with the College of Pharmacy to be an exciting journey, witnessing the College's formation,
growth, and many achievements.
